In observance of Labor Day, there will be no school on Monday, September, 6.

International Literacy Day is Wednesday, September 8. We will have a program to stress the importance of literacy to faculty, staff and students. Following the program everyone will read for 5 minutes. We hope you will take time to read today, too!

The philosophy of LaSalle Elementary School is founded on the belief that each student has a unique pattern of educational needs, interests, abilities and goals. LaSalle Elementary promotes safe schools and healthy students by implementing the Second Step curriculum in the classroom.

The school improvement plan assesses the school's strengths and weaknesses,implements strategies and activities to address the school's needs, and continually evaluates the school's progress toward achieving its objectives and meeting its goals. The plan focuses on improving student achievement at the school by addressing state goals and performance standards.
